Importing Brazilian sugar into Jordan: duty, permits and documents.
Jordan is open to private importers. Refined cane or beet sugar (HS 1701.99.10) pays 0% customs duty in Jordan Customs’ tariff; the “other” line, 1701.99.90, pays 10%. Jordan Customs publishes a full sugar import procedure by sea: an importer card from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, test results, customs approval and Jordan Food and Drug Administration procedures. Labels must be in Arabic. Brazil recorded no white sugar exports to Jordan in 2025.
Brazil’s sugar trade with Jordan
ComexStat records no Brazilian white sugar (NCM 1701.99) shipped to Jordan in 2025. Jordan buys refined sugar from other origins, so a Brazilian cargo would be a new route rather than an established one.

Know your permits and your port? That is everything I need to request a current supplier response.
